You heroes, I Division before the ASME certification does not involve a piece of welding, a few days ago after the audit, the auditors said that we have a product is required to do welding process assessment, in fact, is a side of the valve body welding a hook, the hook from the role, Since there is no contact with this content, some questions please help, as follows:
1. ASME welding process assessment of the WPS, PQR, WPQ and domestic pressure vessel requirements are some differences, there are no domestic requirements on the WPQ, the WPQ need a separate Do it? Can your company confirm your signature? Or a certain third-party certification body to confirm the signature ah?
WPS, PQR and WPQ are not required, If the pressure vessel is for your personal use.
WPS, PQR and WPQ etc. is required when the end user need such an activity to be completed before production.
2. Domestic pressure vessels need to have a welder certificate, ASME welding also need to have a third-party ASME qualification certification body to obtain an ASME welder certificate? Or through the PQR qualified on it?
Third party involvement is not an ASME requirement.
Third party involvement is the end user requirement and might be mentioned in contracts (tender documents) or engineering specification.
3. ASME need to have a PWPS, do PQR or do PQR, and then the formation of WPS ah?
ASME has no such requirements.
End user of the component (Pressure vessel or any other pressure retaining item) may need such requirements.
4. When doing PQR, if qualified, but also their own company can sign to confirm, or need to have ASME certification body to confirm the signature?
Pressure vessel can be built by following ASME code without certification body (Third party) involvement.
If end user needs third party (certification body) involvement, then there is no other choice as they are the invoice clearing agency after fabrication.
I didn't get your fifth (5Th) question. So I omitted that question. |
