关于CI的问题

今天收到NB的一封邮件，内容如下：
下面内容是不是说2014年1月以后，根据ASME QAI-1 第8部分要求CI是不是需要通过NB提供的在线考试，而且是强制性的？

另外对于U钢印厂家这一规定是不是可以忽略掉？

The 2013 Edition of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (ASME BPV Code) has adopted the latest edition of ASME QAI-1. By inclusion, ASME QAI-1, Part 8, will become mandatory on January 1, 2014, for the qualification of Certified Individuals.


The National Board provides a service to ASME Certificate Holders in the qualification of Certified Individuals. The National Board's role in the certification process is to provide ASME BPV Code online training and a corresponding examination. The qualification process is described in National Board document, NB-383, Rules for Certified Individuals, available on National Board's Web site.



Individuals serving as a Certified Individual, who received their ASME BPV Code training from their employer prior to January 1, 2014, will be accepted by the National Board, provided the employer completes the Certified Individual Online Application.



Individuals receiving the ASME BPV Code training after January 1, 2014, will be required to complete the National Board online training.After completion of training, the employer must complete the Certified Individual Online Application.



The application will be submitted to the National Board who will issue a Certified Individual card and prepare a certificate for the employer to sign.

U钢印厂家不是跟AI有长期协议吗？好像不管CI什么事吧。

在 ASME B&PVC Section VIII， Division 1 中，只有取 UM , UD 和 UV 标志 ASME 授权证书的工厂才要求在 NB 在线培训考试取得 CI 证书。

这个应该到UM板块去问。
ASME Section VIII Div.1-2013版更新了CI的要求(见UG-117)，
CI必须符合QAI-1的要求。
根据 QAI-1, CI必须 "(c) comply with the National Board “Rules for Certified Individuals” and hold a valid National Board
Certification for the specific ASME Code Section activities the Certified Individual undertakes."

也就是说，CI必须通过National Board的网上培训及考试。National Board 的UM的CI网上培训及考试链接如下：

而且必须在2013年12月底前通过考核。

如果还没取得ASME certificate即还没有Certificate Number是不能在NB的网站在线申请的，那为了取证的需要，必须有人执行CI的职责，该怎么办？据说是雇主负责制，雇主可以培训考试CI，是这样的吗？
