ESIWelding Simulation Suite 2010.0 32bit & 64bit | 1.0 Gb
Dedicated to all engineers who manage the welding assembly of large and complexwelded designs, the main objective of the simulation suite is to significantlyreduce time and cost to arrive at the bill of material and at a feasibleprocess design.
About ESI Group
ESI is a world-leading supplier and pioneer of digital simulation software forprototyping and manufacturing processes that take into account the physics ofmaterials. ESI has developed an extensive suite of coherent, industry-orientedapplications to realistically simulate a product’s behavior during testing, tofine-tune manufacturing processes in accordance with desired productperformance, and to evaluate the environment’s impact on product performance.ESI’s products represent a unique collaborative and open environment forSimulation-Based Design, enabling virtual prototypes to be improved in acontinuous and collaborative manner while eliminating the need for physicalprototypes during product development. The company employs over 750 high-levelspecialists worldwide covering more than 30 countries. ESI Group is listed incompartment C of NYSE Euronext Paris
About PAM-Assembly & Weld Planner
In the early design and process evaluation phase, Weld Planner is first used toquickly evaluate numbers and positions of welds, clamping conditions, anddesign. While its dedicated GUI, ease of use and simulation speed meet therequirements of product and process design, Weld Planner allows finding thebest possible design in the shortest possible time range.
TheWeld Planner is a milestone in terms of simplicity. The application providesaccess to welding-induced distortion simulation for people unfamiliar withFinite Elements Simulation. Training to be fully operational is completed injust one day. WELD PLANNER is a streamlined solution which includes fastgeneration or automatic finding of weld seams between parts; convenientdefinition of the welding sequence as a robot plan; typical industrial clampingconditions; and versatile possibilities for the visualization of computeddistortion.
PAM-ASSEMBLY is then used to validate the preliminary decisionstaken. The complete physics of material is computed in local models, thusfeeding the global model which is used to compute the overall distortion. Therefore, the computational effort is reduced from months to minutes, withoutlosing any precision.
Version 2010 of ESI’s Welding Simulation Suite is embedded in a complete CAEenvironment, including dedicated meshing and post-processing tools.
