AutodeskSimulation Composite Analysis 2015 (32*64bit)
Autodesk Inc., a world leader in 3D design software for entertainment, naturalresources, manufacturing, engineering, construction, and civil infrastructure, announced the release of Simulation Composite Analysis 2015, is a program thatdelivers composite analysis tools for design simulations.
Simulation Composite Analysis is an add-on for commercial finite element analysis(FEA) packages delivering multi-scale and progressive failure technologies foranalyzing composite materials. Developed specifically for composites, itprovides an unsurpassed combination of accuracy, efficiency and robustconvergence in predicting damage evolution and material failure in compositestructures. Simulation Composite Analysis integrates seamlessly withAbaqus/Standard FEA to provide users with state-of-the-art modeling capabilityfor unidirectional and woven fiber-reinforced composite materials.
Simulation Composite Analysis is employed via a graphical user interface (GUI)within the Abaqus/Standard environment. It includes a plug-in application thatallows for simple inclusion of composite materials into an FEA model, as wellas an add-on module that enables the Abaqus/Standard solver to performmulti-scale analysis. Simulation Composite Analysis includes two auxiliaryapplications. Material Manager is used to easily characterize new compositematerials and add them to the Composite Material Library. xSTIFF simplifies thecreation of compatible Abaqus input files by automatically calculating andinserting any extraneous stiffness parameters required by elements that usereduced integration.
