UW-40 PROCEDURES FOR POSTWELD HEAT TREATMENT
(b) The temperatures and rates of heating and cooling to be used in postweld heat treat- ment of vessels constructed of materials for which postweld heat treatment may be
required are given in UCS-56, UHT-56, UNF-56, and UHA-32.

4)ASME BPVC Section I:
PW-39 REQUIREMENTS FOR POSTWELD HEAT TREATMENT
The weldment shall be heated slowly to the temperature specified in Tables PW-39-1 through PW-39-14 and held for the specified time, and shall be allowed to cool slowly in a still atmosphere to a temperature not exceeding 800°F (425°C). Suggested heating and cooling rates for postweld heat treatment are shown in A-101. and cooling rates for postweld heat treatment described in A-101 are provided as a general guide; the requirements for individual materials within the P-Number listing may have rates more or less restrictive than this general guide.
