As per the definitions in QW-490 of ASME Section IX, the butt joint and conner joint are defined as below:
butt joint: a joint between two members aligned approximately in the same plane.
corner joint: a joint between two members located approximately at right angles to each other in the form of an L.
Well, my question is what the angle joint is? Another question, What is the difference between the angle joint and butt joint(or corner joint)? |
