求助：ASTM A36 适用的产品有什么？

如题，我现在遇到的问题是有一个产品是A36的steel coil，是不是不能用A36这份标准去测试？因为标准里面有提到：
是这样理解吗？如果A36真的不适用的话，应该用什么标准呢？ ASTM A568之类的吗？
感觉这里面说的steel coil是半成品，还要经过加工之后才能成为产品。
我也想知道铁矿石是怎么变成钢材的，这里面的过程是什么呢？哪个过程不一样，导致最后产生了不同牌号的钢材呢？


另外我也想知道A36是High-Strength, Low- Alloy产品吗？为什么呢？
