Intergraph has released CADWorx 2015, thenext-generation AutoCAD-based software solution for plant design and automationthat has enhancements to CADWorx Design Review that allow the generation of.ifv files for viewing and sharing CADWorx design models on the Apple iPadusing the free Intergraph FreeView app.
Intergraph CADWorx, an intelligent 2D and 3Dplant design system, provides ease of use, flexibility, scalability andinterconnectivity. The software offers piping and instrumentation diagram(P&ID) synchronization with the model plus intelligent modeling andautomatic production of design deliverables such as isometric drawings andbills of material, enhancing organizational productivity throughout theengineering and design process.
Other CADWorx 2015 features include capabilitiesfor routing of mitered elbows, skewed pipe design and male and female needlevalves; custom field default values for models; new tables in the specificationeditor; and a new, more user-friendly ISOGEN interface.
