The New Construction Commission and Authorized Inspector Course (A) is a two-week course that introduces design, material quality control, and manufacturing process requirements described in ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Sections I and IV for boilers and ASME Section VIII, Division 1 for pressure vessels. This course exposes students to nondestructive examination, welding, and quality system requirements, and is essential for individuals seeking to perform inspections during construction of boilers and pressure vessels constructed to ASME Code.

This course will allow those passing the final exam to receive a New Construction Commission with "A" Endorsement, provided all other requirements of NB-263, Rules for Inservice and New Construction Commissioned Inspectors, are also met.

Course Pre-Work
Included with the tuition for this course is the ASME Code Reading Primer andBasic Mathematics: Operations and Formulas online training courses. Included in the confirmation email sent to students six weeks prior to the start of class, students will be provided access to this online training. Completing this training prior to the start of class is highly recommended since it is not covered in the classroom.

通过课程考试的评定标准

Criteria for Successful Completion
As a minimum, for a National Board Certificate of Successful Completion and IACET CEUs to be issued, students must:

• complete all online pre-work,
• actively participate in classroom assignments,
• have a minimum attendance of 80%,
• complete the course evaluation survey, and

很有参考意义，也真心不便宜啊。

这里有一个很重要的前提：如果先以个人名义考下AI资格，往返的交通、住宿费用是一笔很大的开支。所以，国内基本是先被AIA录用，公司出钱参加考试。

当然，不同的公司会提出不同的限制条件。
